Tips: Take care of your folds at the beginning, and the rest should be fairly easy if you follow the tutorial exactly. Making careful folds, and making sure everything is properly aligned will allow you to get best results for the final product. This rule is something that should probably be kept in mind when making any origami model. Other than that, have fun!

Origami Blue Bar Pigeon by Seth Friedman

Origami Blue Bar
Designer: Seth Friedman
Folder and Photo: @Origami_Kids
Complexity: Hard. Folded from a classic Single Uncut square origami 50cm x 50cm white and blue origami paper.

I have wanted to fold this model since I saw it. Here’s my last try, folded from 50cm white and blue origami parer. The final model is only 15cm long from head to tail. It also makes the paper very thick inside, hence the shoddy shaping.

dove150The cp took just over an hour to precrease, and about half an hour to collapse the base. It took about another 45mins – hour to fiddle with the base and shape the model. The tail was the trickiest part, I did it by unsinking the pleated sections and wraping them around so they were the right way, although it made the back quite chunky.

Origami Heart with Wings (Winged Heart ) by Francis Ow

heart2 500

This Tutorial teaching how to make a Origami Heart with Wings (Winged Heart), (Designed by: Francis Ow)
As you can see, the Paper Winged Heart is a beautiful piece of work. It’s really neat how the wings are folded like that and are able to protrude out to the sides the way they do. The Winged Heart is sure to amaze adults and kids and alike. It also makes a beautiful “post-it” note that is certain to brighten up someone’s day, but you’ll have to add your own adhesive. There are a couple of folds that require some maneuvering to accomplish, but they’re by no means intricate or difficult.

[Jorge Chen] I think you should subtitle your tutorials… Because people like me, who isn’t English or don’t know English too good it’s easier reading than hearing.

Dollar Bill Origami How to fold the ‘Change of Heart’

How to fold the Dollar Bill Origami ‘Change of Heart’ This Dollar Bill Origami heart in particular is sometimes called “change of heart,” because it can hold a quarter in the middle. Is often attributed to Stephen Hecht because he was the first person to use a dollar bill instead a sheet of plain paper.
This guide shows how to make a cute origami dollar heart that you can put a quarter inside. I’m sure that you have probably seen this somewhere on the internet, but I felt that Instructables needed one. Well anyways, its a pretty cool way to give someone money. It only takes about 5 or so minutes to make, and its awesome.

Dollar Bill Origami

Why Money Origami? Sometimes money is the most practical gift you can give. Especially when you know that the recipient is saving up for something that’s important to them. However, there can be something a bit impersonal about giving a cash gift. The solution: dollar bill origami! Or 10 dollar bill origami, or 100 dollar bill… By folding money, you can turn a few bills into a gift that’s creative and memorable,
If you don’t have any U.S. currency, you’d like a different color, or you want to give one to someone without giving them your money, start with a rectangular piece of paper about the same size: 6.6cm (2.61 inches) wide, by 15.6cm (6.14 inches) long. A paper cutter, if you have access to one, can help you get the edges square. This may also be possible with other currencies. A £5 or £10 British note Check the size of the alternative currency note’s size against the measurements in the previous tip.
